Husk documentation.
Everything Husk does, how to use it, and where the edges are. The browser ships with no telemetry and no online help — this is the manual instead.
If you're just starting
Read Install & verify first. It covers downloading, checking the SHA-256, what files Husk writes, and where they end up. Then pick whichever feature is relevant to you — the pages are independent.

Install & verify
Extract the zip, double-click, check the SHA-256. The whole install flow plus what portable mode actually means on disk.
→
Encrypted profiles
Create a sealed profile with Argon2id + ChaCha20-Poly1305. Multi-profile, locked-by-default, no recovery email — and why.
→
Vault & duress slot
Credentials manager with an optional second phrase that opens a decoy vault. Designed for the moment someone insists you unlock.
→
Encrypted notebooks
Markdown notes with per-notebook phrases, image embedding, and the same sealing-at-rest as the rest of the profile.
→
DoH, adblock, fingerprint
DNS-over-HTTPS with strict mode, native adblock + cosmetic rules, anti-fingerprint spoof and the compat-mode escape hatch.
→
Boss key, screenshot, interceptor
F9 turns every Husk window into a calculator. Built-in screenshot editor. Burp-style request/response pause-and-edit.
